Job Description

Human Resources VP/Director reporting to MD/Head of Human Resources

Company: Investment Management firm with $20 Billion AUM and 200 Employees, based in NYC

Compensation: $200K Base + Bonus + Long-term Compensation, + Excellent benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR Operations supporting employees Compensation, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and HR Policies and Procedures
  • Redefine and enhance current process and onboarding, retention, and employee exit interviews
  • Manage compensation consulting vendors and analysis
  • Spearhead the rollout of HR technologies
  • Develop strong relationships with senior management and provide vital information on the external market trends and compensation vs internal equity
  • Advise on the compensation strategy and recommend offers to incentivize attraction, performance, and engagement

Requirements:

  • 7+ Years as an HR Generalist responsible for compensation, benefits administration, and HR compliance, within a hedge fund, family office, private equity, or asset management firm
  • Buy-side experience is required, 4 plus years experience working at a hedge fund, family office, private equity, or asset management firm
  • College Degree required (SHRM is a+)
