Private Credit Investment Professional

Company:  Private debt investment manager located in Midtown New York managing $5.5 billion of AUM. The funds focus is on US middle market direct lending opportunities.

Job Title:  Private Credit Investment Professional  --Restructuring Focused 

Responsibilities
 

• Support origination,  and initial screening of direct and syndicated loan investments
• Monitor market activity with investment banks, restructuring advisors, private equity sponsors, legal counsel, and other industry professionals
• Provide investment and transaction structuring analysis
• Manage investment due diligence and documentation process, including engagement of third-party advisors and legal counsel
• Pitch investment opportunities to the firm’s Investment Committee
• Monitor portfolio investments and provide detailed performance updates
• Support the Investment Team’s operational responsibilities

Requirements:

• College Degree, CFA or MBA a +
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Deal experience in either private credit, investment management, or investment banking in transaction execution preferable
• Reorg / Restructuring deal experience required
