MGEX

MGEX (Minneapolis Grain Exchange, Inc) is membership organization and an international fixture in the derivatives industry offering futures and options contracts on a variety of commodities.  MGEX is a Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization.

Founded as a regional cash marketplace promoting fair trade in wheat, oats and corn, MGEX has evolved into a Futures and Options trading hub for its benchmark Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) contract and Apple Juice Concentrate (AJC) and five financially settled agricultural index products: hard red spring wheat (HRSI), hard red winter wheat (HRWI), soft red winter wheat (SRWI), corn (NCI) and soybeans (NSI).

The mission of the Exchange is to provide and oversee a fair and reliable marketplace offering personalized service and efficient transaction execution. MGEX does not participate in trading or establish prices. It oversees the dissemination of pricing information. MGEX products help traders manage risk and offer the opportunity for profit for those willing to assume that risk.
