2+ years of public accounting/private financial services industry experience. These responsibilities would be varied and go across our platform.   The position reports to Tax Director. Tasks would include: fund tax compliance, workpaper preparation and tax return review, serve as the primary tax associate Responsibilities: • Heavily involved in the initial tax compliance process, including the review of partnership tax returns, Schedule K-1s, foreign filings and tax workpapers prepared by our external tax preparers. • Involved in reviewing the quarterly tax estimates and projections, flow-through pick-ups, and proper allocations each quarter. • Assist with periodic tax payments • Gain exposure to tax planning, ad-doc projects, and basic tax research. • Manage the vendor 1099 process • Manage the W8/W9 vendor tax form onboarding review • Work on State & Local filings • Work with existing processes/systems...
